Disaster Recovery Planning or Business Continuity Planning, as it is sometimes referred to, is one of our key specialist areas.  We understand how vitally important it is for your business to be prepared for the worse.  More importantly, we have the skills to recover you from disasters or mishaps should disaster strike.  We were the national support arm of CommVault Systems in Australia.  Our users included many large government and private enterprises.  Our focus now is to apply those same best practice methodologies and solutions to smaller SME’s.

Fortunately, most of our work involves preparing our clients for possible disasters.  But there is no room for complacency on these matters.  We should never allow ourselves to be lulled into a false sense of security, thinking that “it will never happen to me”.  Not planning for a disaster is like waiting for a disaster to happen. 

Some of the features of our DR Services include, identifying critical points of failure within the client’s IT infrastructure, and then understanding the impact to the business should any one of those points fail. We then tailor a solution that firstly attempts to lessen the likelihood of failure through appropriate fault tolerance and redundancy measures, then implement a DR solution with a Recovery Time Objective within the client's business requirements.

Very soon, we will be releasing a new service offering under our Disaster Recovery services.  This new service will allow you to backup your valuable data off-site to one of our hosted data centres.  You won’t have to worry about backup media again.  We could store a complete image of your systems with the latest changes and modifications, then if needed, rebuild your system to a different physical server.  Your data will be safe and secured in a Tier 1 data centre in Sydney.
